IoT is a diverse technology area and will cover and overlap with many subjects such as Edge Computing, Security, 5G , AI and Network Performance. We will cover the use of this technology in various applications such as Smart Cities, Agriculture and Energy.  It is an extremely exciting technology area and one that will impact both our work and personal environments.

The city of Saint-Grégoire in north-western France is working with connectivity specialist Kerlink to install a customised Internet of Things (IoT) network aimed at reducing building energy consumption by 20 per cent, cutting CO2 emissions and making use of city services more convenient.
